A family business founded in the municipality of Pantoja (Toledo, Spain), where as early as the 18th century there was an industry dedicated to quarrying stone to obtain black gypsum.
For decades, we have been driving the transformation of the brick market internationally thanks to our commitment to R&D&I and design, preserving the artisanal and sustainable nature of the raw material and innovating to meet the new demands and needs of architecture, design and construction.
La Paloma Cerámicas is a family business with over 300 professionals and is managed by the second generation, under the leadership of Francisco Rodríguez Moreno as chief executive officer.

Cerámica La Paloma was founded in Pantoja (Toledo) in 1979. It was the first factory belonging to the company to be dedicated entirely to the production of hollow bricks. This marked the starting point for the group's development.

The business grows thanks to the construction of new plants and the acquisition of new factories (Cerámica 4 Palomas in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid; and Gres Acueducto in Otero de Herreros, Segovia). It also diversifies with the production of hollow bricks, thin bricks, high-quality stoneware facing bricks and gypsum-coated bricks.

We have incorporated a cogeneration facility that allows us to simultaneously generate useful electrical and thermal energy. This is one of the first measures we have implemented to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions in brick manufacturing.

We continue to grow with the acquisition and refurbishment of Cerámica Elu in Pantoja and the construction of a new factory with the latest technology in the sector in Otero de Herreros (Segovia, Spain). These advances allow us to produce facing bricks in a wide range of colours and finishes, as well as stoneware facing bricks.

We acquired Cerâmica do Vale da Gândara in Portugal, a leading manufacturer in the Portuguese market for facing bricks and klinker paving stones. This acquisition allows us to increase our production and marketing capacity throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
We are expanding our commercial presence to more than 30 countries. We have a particularly strong presence in the United States and in Europe, East Asia and Oceania.

We acquired the Klinker Seg factory in Nava de la Asunción (Segovia, Spain) to expand our range of hollow brick solutions and increase our production capacity.

La Paloma Cerámicas wins the international competition to participate in the restoration of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, a project of international significance with the highest architectural standards.

A total of 4,129 kW in photovoltaic panels since 2020, along with an ambitious plan for the continuous implementation of photovoltaic energy.

We opened Spain's first showroom dedicated to bricks in the centre of Madrid: La Paloma Design Studio V67. It has become a meeting place and point of reference for professionals in architecture, design and creativity. In addition, we acquired Cerámica Malpesa in Bailén (Jaén), enabling us to expand our production capacity for facing bricks, pressed bricks, ceramic paving stones and construction systems. That same year, at the 17th edition of the NAN Awards for the Best Architecture and Construction Materials Projects, La Paloma Cerámicas' Iris system was recognised as the “Best Construction Material 2023”.

Coinciding with its 45th anniversary, La Paloma Cerámicas receives the 13th Family Business Award from the Family Business Association of Castilla-La Mancha (AEFCLM).
