La Paloma Cerámicas: 45 years building safe and sustainable solutions

At La Paloma Cerámicas, we have been offering modern and effective solutions to today’s architectural challenges for 45 years. We continue to focus on quality, safety, and innovation in every project, always with an eye on ensuring the protection of people and architectural heritage. An event marking our 45th anniversary

This year marks our 45th anniversary, a very important milestone for La Paloma Cerámicas. Since our beginnings in 1979, we have evolved without losing our family essence and our dedication to offering innovative, safe and sustainable products. As our CEO, Francisco Rodríguez, mentioned, “we never thought a brick could travel,” but today our solutions reach five continents.

With more than 300 employees and a strong team specialized in innovation, we continue to explore new ways to enhance the qualities of facing brick as an architectural icon that adapts to today’s most demanding needs.

During the event, the evolution of construction materials and the safety that buildings enjoy thanks to facing brick were discussed.

The sector echoes our journey

From a small factory in Pantoja, Toledo, we’ve grown to become the fifth-largest brick producer in Europe and the tenth largest worldwide. Our production capacity has multiplied, going from 50,000 bricks per day to more than a million. In addition, in 2023 we will incorporate the Cerámica Malpesa factory to continue strengthening our market position.

We would like to thank all the media outlets and journalists who have spread our message, highlighting once again the importance of exposed brick in contemporary architecture: ABC Toledo and Infoconstrucción, and to those attending our 45th anniversary: Cecilia Rodríguez from Arquitectura Viva, Enrique Sanz Neira from Conarquitectura, Paloma Elices de Proarquitectura, José María Marzo de Tectonics, Juanjo García de Ecoconstrucción, Alberto Adeva de Irehabitae, Marcos Delgado Hazañas from Idealista, Beatriz González from AD España and Ana Corina de la Fuente from The ArchiTopic. Thank you for joining us on such a special day.

Let’s continue building together towards a safer and more sustainable future!
